Terms & Conditions

NubixVerify is not NIMC, CBN, or NIBSS

NubixVerify is an independent, privately-owned technology platform. We are not the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), not the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), not NIBSS, and not a government agency of any kind. We do not issue, create, register, alter, or own any National Identification Number (NIN) or Bank Verification Number (BVN). We simply act as a third-party partner that lets an account holder verify identity details already issued by the relevant authority and download a printable slip of that data. For official NIN enrollment, correction, or replacement, visit nimc.gov.ng directly.

1. Introduction

NubixVerify ("we", "us", "our", "the Platform") provides a secure online platform that allows individuals and businesses to verify National Identification Numbers (NIN), Bank Verification Numbers (BVN), and related phone-linked identity records, and to generate a printable slip of the verified data. By creating an account, funding your wallet, or using any service on this Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. NubixVerify exists strictly for lawful, consensual verification — never for fraud, impersonation, identity theft, or unauthorized access to another person's data.

2. Legal Basis for Verification

Verification services on this Platform are provided in compliance with the NIMC Act and the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023, as may be amended by subsequent legislation. Under these laws, no person may access, verify, retrieve, or use another individual's NIN or BVN information without that individual's explicit, informed consent — or, where the data subject is a minor or otherwise unable to consent, without authorization from their parent, legal guardian, or another legally recognized representative. By submitting a verification request, you confirm that this consent has genuinely been obtained and that you can produce evidence of it if required by NubixVerify, NIMC, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), or any other competent authority.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or verifying on behalf of an organisation with proper authorization, to register an account.
  • All information you provide to us (name, email, phone number, payment details) must be accurate and truthful.
  • You may not use the Platform for fraudulent activity, forgery, money laundering, unauthorized data access, or any other unlawful purpose.

Violation of these eligibility terms may result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of wallet balance associated with the violation, reporting to law enforcement, and prosecution.

4. Consent & Your Responsibility

4.1 Obtaining consent. Before submitting any NIN or BVN for verification that does not belong to you personally, you must obtain the clear, informed consent of the record owner (written, digital, or otherwise recorded), and confirm that consent exists at the point of submission. You are solely responsible for keeping evidence of that consent.

4.2 Your liability. You bear full and sole responsibility for every verification request submitted through your account, whether performed by you personally or by anyone with access to your account credentials. NubixVerify accepts no liability for damages, penalties, or legal consequences arising from a verification performed without proper consent. Unauthorized verification may expose you to civil and criminal liability under the NDPA, the NIMC Act, and other applicable Nigerian law.

5. Our Services

What we do: NubixVerify lets you verify NIN, verify BVN, look up NIN-linked records by phone number, retrieve NIN demographic data, and generate/download a printable slip of the verified record (in various formats, including regular, improved, premium, VNIN, and BVN premium slip layouts), for identity confirmation, KYC compliance, and personal record-keeping purposes.

What we do not do: We do not issue, enroll, register, replace, correct, or authenticate a NIN or BVN on behalf of NIMC, a bank, or any financial institution. We do not modify official government or banking records in any way. Any correction, replacement, or enrollment request must go through NIMC or your bank directly.

You may not resell, redistribute, bulk-harvest, or use automated scraping against verification results obtained through the Platform, except where you hold a separate written API/reseller agreement with us.

6. Data Privacy & Protection

We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023. Verification requests are processed using encrypted, token-based connections to our licensed verification partners. We retain only the minimum data necessary to provide the service, generate your slip, maintain your transaction history, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations — we do not sell verification data to third parties. Please also review our Privacy Policy for full detail on how data is collected, stored, and protected.

7. Service Availability

We work to keep the Platform available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, since verification results depend on third-party data sources and infrastructure outside our direct control. NubixVerify is not liable for losses arising from temporary service interruptions, scheduled maintenance, or downtime at an upstream verification provider.

8. Wallet, Fees & Refunds

Services on the Platform are paid for from your NubixVerify wallet, which you can fund via Paystack or your dedicated virtual account. All fees are displayed clearly before you confirm a request. Once a verification request has been successfully processed and a result returned, no refund will be issued — this reflects the real cost we incur with our verification partners the moment a lookup is performed, successful or not. Suspected fraudulent funding activity will result in account suspension and may be reported to the relevant payment provider or authorities.

9. Disclaimer of Liability

NubixVerify acts solely as a verification intermediary. We are an independent private platform and are not NIMC, CBN, NIBSS, or any agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria. We do not generate, own, or alter official identity records — we provide a secure channel to confirm data already issued by the relevant authority, as permitted by law. We are not liable for errors originating in an upstream/source database, for a user's misuse of a verification result, or for any unauthorized verification carried out through your account.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NubixVerify, its officers, staff, partners, and affiliates from any loss, damage, claim, fine, or legal cost arising from your failure to obtain proper consent, your violation of these Terms, or your misuse of the Platform. Responsibility for illegal or unauthorized use of the service rests solely with you.

11. Prohibited & Fraudulent Use

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward illegal activity on the Platform, including but not limited to: unauthorized verification, impersonation, forged consent, payment fraud, and attempts to bypass security controls. Violations result in permanent account suspension, and may be reported to NIMC, the NDPC, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), or other relevant authorities.

12. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe it poses a legal, regulatory, security, or reputational risk to the Platform, other users, or the public. Termination does not waive any liability you have already incurred under these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory or another Nigerian court of competent jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, regulation, or our services. Material changes will require you to re-confirm your acceptance before continuing to use the Platform. Continued use after a minor update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Contact Us

Questions about these Terms can be sent to us via WhatsApp support at 08085693977, or through the support channel listed on your dashboard.

16. Acknowledgement

By using NubixVerify, you confirm that you understand your legal obligations under Nigerian data protection and identity law, that you will only submit verification requests you are authorized to make, that you assume full responsibility for the consequences of every request submitted through your account, and that NubixVerify — as an independent third-party partner, not NIMC or any government body — disclaims liability for illegal or unauthorized use of the Platform.
